Makita DTD155Z 18v LXT Brushless Cordless Impact Driver Body Only. The Makita DTD155 is a cordless, Brushless Impact Driver powered by 18v Li-ion battery and has been developed as an 18 volt version of the TD111D. It features Makita's new impact mode, "A-Mode" aka "Assist Mode" which helps to eliminate "screw cam-out" and "cross threading" by driving at low speed until the start of tightening. 3 operating modes allow a wide range of applications: 2 speed levels + "A Mode".
"Assist Mode":Assisted screwing with push button, soft & slow start -> automatic acceleration -> tightening with maximum speed. BL Motor without carbon brushes: no maintenance and low energy consumption, therefore longer battery life. Enhanced moisture and dust protection with the XPT system (eXtreme Protection Technology).
